Ships Made With Toothpicks

Artist Wayne Kusy, 50, of Chicago spends years painstakingly piecing together the fiddly sticks to make stunning sculptures of ships which have included the Titanic and Cutty Sark. But his master-pick is undoubtedly his Queen Mary, made of nearly one million toothpicks, which is an astonishing 25ft long, 3ft wide and 6ft high. Wayne began making toothpick sculptures as a schoolboy when he was set an art project to make sculptures out of household utensils.
